Uncommitted Budgets
We’ve updated how remaining budget is calculated to provide a clearer, more accurate view of what’s actually available to spend on a project.
What’s New:
- Renamed: “Remaining Budget” is now called Uncommitted Budget to reflect its purpose more clearly
- Smarter Calculation: Now calculated as:
Revised Cost Budget − PO Amounts − Approved Costs (not linked to POs) - New column: Added to the Budgets table and Excel export for quick visibility
- Platform-wide update: Uncommitted Budget is now shown across Bills, Expenses, Purchase Orders, and Timesheets
Why it matters:
This helps prevent over-committing project funds by showing exactly what's still available — after accounting for existing POs and costs.
